On the 17th of April, the evening before the long weekend, Global Tech Partners hosted its second business networking event of the year, "From Crisis to Commerce: Police Negotiation Rules for Business Success".


The venue was generously provided by Melbourne Connect Co-working, with sponsorship from monday.com. The event was organised by Legati Partners.


The consensus is that this was our best event yet—our speakers were truly outstanding. Lee Wolahan shared insights from his time as one of Victoria Police’s top negotiators, offering practical negotiation tips for business scenarios. Cezary Carmichael captivated the audience with his story of cycling around Australia to raise funds for schools in East Timor. Oliver Morton delivered an engaging presentation on Monday, showcasing it as a leading WorkOS platform.


The event was as informative as it was entertaining, and the feedback we received has been overwhelmingly positive. We highly thank the audience for coming along - a hard ask the evening before the long weekend, and of course our presenters - you were fantastic.
